Movement of Goods-
The Mesopotamian people transported their goods by carts, camels, boats off the river, and donkeys and horses. The good they transported where grain, textiles, and oil. They traded with Egypt, Phoenicians, and mostly between city-states.
Movement of People-
People got around by carts, camels, horse, boat, and donkey. Before they settled in the Fertile Crescent, they were nomadic and always on the move. After they settled they stayed put.
Movement of Ideas-
Their good ideas got around when the merchants whet to trade with other lands and those people copied or stole their inventions. As nomads passed through Mesopotamia, they caught on to the bright ideas they had and either bought, stole, or made their inventions for themselves. Frankly, we still use a lot of their inventions. Mesopotamia didn’t really copy any other civilizations ideas because they were the first advanced civilization. However they did copy each other when Hammurabi gathered all the laws in the empire and made one huge set of laws. Ideas mostly got around from people moving around and they got ideas from each other.
